Dork Extrordinaire

Tentatively finished my “Oh god it’s him again” 4*+10 Gaius build, using a +Spd -Def one as the base. I initially started doing this because he wasn’t useful as fodder, but when I finally put everything together (and realized I had a -atk summer Frederick lying around) I realized this meme build had some potential.

The build revolves around Gaius being able to take a single strong hit, simultaneously dropping him under the escape route threshold and granting him a significant amount of damage for reprisal, which, unless the opponent can match an effective 49 speed with seashell passive, will activate in that same round of combat. Normally I’d put the Speed +3 seal on him, but using DD3 gives more arena score.

Speaking of, he’s ended up being part of my arena core for the time being. His build allows him to tank and then double Mulagir Brave Lyn for the kill, and the merges have given him enough bst to put him individually over the 700 point threshold.

The only thing that could be improved is that he doesn’t have a maxed A slot skill. However, this was supposed to be a budget build, and though I’m willing to drop a S!Frederick I was never going to use and 50 stones to refine the seashell, I draw the line at dropping 20k feathers just for LaD3. Until we get a 4* LaD3 fodder, it’ll have to stay that way.
